In its latest Global Financial Stability report, the IMF said that global regulators need to enact regulations in order keep risks associated with crypto trading under control because it is become increasingly popular among investors over recent years - doubling this year alone!

The crypto-currency ecosystem is thriving with new digital currencies, exchanges and wallets popping up all over the world. However many organizations lack strong operational practices that can put any investors at risk from cyberattacks or wild swings in value when investing their funds globally into this emerging market of finance technology; yet users are only disclosing limited amounts if not no information about themselves which allows them to engage in money laundering/terrorist financing through these decentralized networks utilized by cryptocurrencies while hiding behind anonymity (which some might argue encourages cheating).

IMF recommends global standards for regulating cryptocurrency.

The IMF has released a new report warning about the risks of cryptocurrencies, and says that as they become more popular with investors around the world there will be increasing implications for stability. The organization recommended crypto exchanges trading coins meeting their definition should be subject to existing international standards set in place by securities intermediaries like banks or brokerages - not just national ones but those from other countries too!

Cryptocurrency exchanges experienced a tenfold increase in phishing attacks this past year, cyber threat intelligence company PhishLabs said. The organization, which is made up ofECB and the World Bank amongst others noted that greater standardization could lead to better oversight with accurate understanding as well as proportionate regulation by governments who are increasingly relying upon it's reports."
